A lifelong Livonia resident, Kayleigh is the youngest of three siblings. She attended St. Michael’s in Livonia and Mercy High School before studying communications and political science at the University of Dayton. She later earned her MBA from Lawrence Technological University.

Kayleigh’s involvement in the Livonia community began at a young age through the Livonia Figure Skating Club, LJAL basketball, and attending events like Daddy-Daughter Dances and Bring Your Kid to Work Day at City Hall. She later took on her first job with the city as a camp counselor for the Parks and Recreation Playground Program.

Kayleigh spent eight years working in the President’s Office at Lawrence Technological University before stepping into her current role as Executive Director of the Livonia Spree. She is now preparing for her third Spree in 2025.

In 2021, Kayleigh married her husband, Eric, at Greenmead’s Newburgh Church and celebrated their reception on the Simmons Hill House lawn. Together, they have three boys—Jack (4.5), Sean (2.5), and Danny (1). They live in Livonia, where they enjoy their backyard, swimming at Fairway Farms pool club, and spending weekends at Livonia’s beautiful parks.

Kayleigh is a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, a member of Irish American Club of Detroit and an Alumni of Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity, Alpha Psi Chapter.
